The program, which has run for over four decades, offers participants in grades 9-12 opportunities to explore Israel's history, culture, and diverse communities through travel, volunteering, and educational experiences, from the Golan Heights to Eilat. Yaniv Biran, CEO of Tzofim North America, stated, "Chetz V’Keshet gives our participants the opportunity to experience Israel in a way that simply can’t be replicated in a classroom." Supported by RootOne, the program also provides pre-trip educational workshops and a $3,000 voucher to make the experience more accessible. Despite initial hesitation due to the security situation, parent Orly Zevulun from Tarzana, Calif., described sending her children as "undoubtedly worth it to see them get the full Israeli experience."
