98-year-old Holocaust survivor to Jewish students: ‘Never let hatred define you’

Holocaust survivor Nate Leipciger, 98, has issued an open letter to Jewish students globally as they return to university campuses amidst rising antisemitism. Launched by the International March of the Living on September 1st, the 87th anniversary of WWII's outbreak, the initiative urges students to embrace their Jewish identity and not let hatred define them. Leipciger, an Auschwitz survivor, emphasizes, "Antisemitism is old. Your future is not." He encourages students to learn their Jewish inheritance, connect with Jewish communities, and stand against all forms of discrimination while supporting one another. The initiative is supported by various Jewish and Zionist student organizations worldwide.
