Falter criticized Burnham's recent focus on Israel-Gaza policy, stating it was "disheartening to British Jewry" and that the government's approach to antisemitism is a more pressing domestic issue. While Burnham has pledged to protect Jewish communities and supported a £250 million funding boost, Falter emphasized that "protection and anonymity are precautions; they are not a solution," urging a crackdown on extremist groups rather than just protective measures.
