A new Right? Winter’s ‘Amcha Yisrael’ could secure six seats, at expense of Smotrich's RZP – poll

A Walla poll, conducted on August 26, 2026, by Lazar Research, indicates that Ofer Winter's new Amcha Yisrael Party could secure six Knesset seats. This development significantly impacts the national camp, with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich's Religious Zionist Party falling below the electoral threshold at 2.6% of the vote. Pollster Dr. Menachem Lazar stated, "In my estimation, he took approximately one seat from the Religious Zionist Party," attributing this to the similar voter bases of the two parties. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc, even with Winter's potential support, would only reach 49 seats, falling short of a majority. Other notable results include Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar Party leading with 25 seats and Itamar Ben Gvir's Otzma Yehudit maintaining eight seats.
