A storybook debut as Yam Madar begins his Maccabi Tel Aviv journey

Yam Madar, formerly of Hapoel Tel Aviv, made a "storybook debut" for archrivals Maccabi Tel Aviv, leading them to a 101-83 victory over Hapoel in the preseason Super Cup. Madar, who previously played under Dimitrios Itoudis for Hapoel, now plays for Maccabi coach Oded Katash. Despite the pressure of moving from Hapoel's youth system to their rival, Madar delivered an MVP performance, scoring his first points with a three-pointer and contributing significantly throughout the game. His debut was met with a welcoming reception from Maccabi fans, setting the stage for his new role with the team as they prepare for the upcoming EuroLeague season.
