According to the agreement: Lebanese Army begins deployment in first pilot area on Israel's border

Lebanese Army forces entered the villages of Firon and Deir Qanoun, two villages located outside the security zone, as part of the first pilot area under the Israel-Lebanon agreement. The purpose of the deployment is to work toward demilitarizing the area of Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure.
