An 80-member Israeli delegation, named Brit Re'im (covenant of friends), is departing tonight from Nevatim Air Force base to Colombia following a recent earthquake. The delegation, consisting of IDF soldiers and officials from the Foreign and Defense Ministries, will fly on an Israeli Air Force plane. Led by the IDF Home Front Command and the Foreign Ministry, with search-and-rescue commanded by Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yossi Pinto, the team will distribute food and water and conduct search-and-rescue missions for earthquake victims.
