Air-raid sirens sound in Kuwait amid renewed Iranian strikes

Air-raid sirens were activated across Kuwait on Sunday morning due to missile and drone attacks, which the Kuwaiti military described as "criminal Iranian aggression." The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces confirmed that explosions heard were from air defense systems intercepting hostile targets. Iran's state-controlled IRIB outlet reported that Tehran attacked U.S. military assets in Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Iraq on Saturday. Kuwait's military intercepted at least four waves of Iranian missiles and drones, while Bahrain's Defense Force also "intercepted and destroyed a number of treacherous Iranian aerial attacks." A Jordanian military source stated that aircraft shot down at least four Iranian suicide drones. These events occurred as the U.S. military conducted its eighth consecutive night of strikes against Iranian targets, following an attack in Jordan that killed two U.S. service members.
