Alan Dershowitz calls Jewish Mamdani voters 'self-haters' in radio interview

During a Zev Brenner's Talkline Network radio interview, Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz criticized Jewish voters who supported New York City Mayor Zorhan Mamdani, calling them "self-haters." Dershowitz cited Mamdani's decision not to appoint any Jewish lawyers to a judicial commission and alleged that Mamdani, his wife, and his father are antisemitic. He stated, "We know he's an antisemite, we know his wife is an antisemite, we know his father has had all kinds of problems with Jews as well. So, look, he's a bigot." Dershowitz also warned that any attempt by Mamdani to interfere with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the UN General Assembly would violate federal law. He urged the Jewish community to focus on long-term structural organization and early civic participation to protect its interests.
