All 100 US senators invited to meet Volodymyr Zelensky during Lindsey Graham funeral

During his visit, the Senate was also expected to begin voting on a bill championed by Graham to impose sanctions on Russia, aimed at reducing revenue from Russian energy sales to fund its war in Ukraine. The legislation, pending for about a year, has been modified to a 100% tariff from a previous 500% to gain support, though it has raised concerns in Congress regarding potential new presidential war powers. Zelensky, who arrived Tuesday morning, stated that anti-ballistic defense and strategic cooperation with the US were the "number one priority" for his meetings.
