Ambassador Eli Vered Hazan appointed next leader of top Israeli organization

Ambassador Eli Vered Hazan has been appointed the next World Chairman of Keren Hayesod, succeeding Sam Grundwerg, who led the organization for eight years. Keren Hayesod announced the appointment on Monday, following a comprehensive selection process. Hazan, currently Israel's Ambassador to Singapore and former Vice President for Public Diplomacy at the Jerusalem Institute of Justice, was praised for his role in strengthening Israel's international relations. Grundwerg stated, "Eli brings impressive public leadership experience and years of service to the State of Israel and the Jewish people." Hazan called the appointment a "great honor" and expressed his appreciation for the confidence shown in him. Keren Hayesod, established in 1920, focuses on strengthening Israeli society, promoting Aliyah, and enriching the Jewish Diaspora.
