An ambulance was dedicated in Overland Park, Kansas, on Friday in memory of Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky, who were killed in a 2025 shooting in Washington D.C. The Goldhirsch-Yellin Foundation donated the ambulance to Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency medical service. Elizabeth Goldhirsch, president of the foundation, stated, “Sarah and Yaron were all about bridge building, about building a more peaceful and just world.” The fathers of both victims spoke at the ceremony, expressing gratitude and emotion.
