American high school students participate in summer programs in Israel

Nearly 100 American high school students recently completed summer programs at Alexander Muss High School in Israel (Muss), returning after four weeks focused on Jewish history, Israeli culture, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The programs, supported by Jewish National Fund-USA, offered three tracks: Classic, Explore, and Entrepreneurship. Students engaged in activities such as studying at historical sites, preparing meals for IDF soldiers, and interacting with Nova Music Festival survivors. Myles G. from Pound Ridge, N.Y., stated, "Muss turned Jewish history from something I learned about into something I experienced." Participants also developed startup concepts and built relationships with Israeli students. Eli A. from Bellevue, Wash., remarked, "It was inspiring to see how strong the people of Israel are despite everything." Muss Summer is a RootOne-affiliated trip, offering financial aid to participants.
