American refueling tankers to be stationed in IDF bases, Ramon Airport as US reinforces Middle East

Dozens of American refueling aircraft will be stationed at IDF bases and Ramon Airport in southern Israel, according to a security official. This deployment is part of a broader US reinforcement in the Middle East, aiming to shorten the transition time from routine to emergency readiness. An Israel Air Force source confirmed that 14 American military refueling aircraft arrived over the weekend amid escalating tensions with Iran. The US is also redeploying F-35 and F-15 aircraft from Britain and Germany, including those specialized in suppressing enemy air defenses, to "blind" the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Additionally, CENTCOM is operating over 20 US Navy warships and hundreds of aircraft to enforce a naval blockade on Iranian ports, including the Strait of Hormuz.
