AMIT starts a global education conversation

AMIT recently launched a global initiative to connect Jewish school principals worldwide, fostering collaboration and improving the student experience. In the first cohort, U.S. and Canadian principals traveled to Israel to learn about AMIT's educational network and discuss the future of Jewish education. Participants shared case studies and learned about AMIT's personalized learning models, including a partnership with the Disabled Veterans Organization. Rabbi Jeffrey Kobrin noted, "We’re all trying to accomplish the same goals and if we could do that together, I don’t see what could hold us back."

• Separately, AMIT brought 45 Israeli principals to the U.S. for a professional learning seminar, visiting secular and Jewish schools to explore innovative pedagogical models and discuss Jewish identity and antisemitism.
• Limor Friedman, AMIT's Director of Strategic Overseas Relations and Innovation, highlighted the significance of secular schools embracing the Israeli delegation, stating, "Their willingness to engage was a powerful reminder of the connections that can be created across cultures through education."
• Both exchanges emphasized the mutual learning potential between educators across the ocean, aiming to deepen connections between American Jewish communities and Israel.
