Arab American group sues Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Caterpillar over Israel aid

An Arab American advocacy group, the Arab American Civil Rights League (ACRL), filed a proposed federal class-action lawsuit on Tuesday against Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Caterpillar, and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, alleges that the defendants facilitated Israeli military operations in Lebanon that damaged property owned by U.S. citizens. The complaint claims the companies supplied weapons and equipment to Israel, knowing they could be used "in a manner involving unreasonable risk of harm to the persons and property of the plaintiffs." The suit seeks injunctive relief, including a temporary injunction to halt further transfers to Israel. While 18 individual plaintiffs assert property ownership in Lebanon, the filing did not include deeds or other documentation establishing ownership.
