Arkia to add new Dreamliner flights, Airbus A330 to Tel Aviv-New York route
The Israeli carrier will increase its summer capacity to JFK before introducing an aircraft with 46 business-class seats and an Israeli crew present on every flight, starting in September.
Arkia Airlines is expanding its Tel Aviv-New York route in August and September due to high demand, adding Monday and Wednesday flights. These additional services will utilize a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner from Neos, accommodating 345 passengers. Additionally, from September 11, Arkia will introduce a Hi Fly-operated Airbus A330-300 on the route, featuring 249 seats, including 46 in business class, with an Israeli crew on board. This expansion aims to enhance the airline's "flagship route" to the United States, improving passenger comfort and service, and follows Arkia's interline agreement with JetBlue in January.
