Bahrain, Kuwait reportedly carried out secret Iran air strikes

Bahrain and Kuwait reportedly conducted secret air strikes against military targets in Iran earlier this month, according to the Wall Street Journal. These strikes targeted Iranian drone and missile storage depots and other sites, following months of Iranian missile and drone attacks on the Gulf countries since late February. This marks the first time Bahrain and Kuwait have carried out offensive operations inside Iran, following similar unacknowledged strikes by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates earlier in the conflict. The UAE reportedly provided intelligence and defensive air cover for these operations. Jason Brodsky, policy director at United Against Nuclear Iran, noted, “The loss of deterrence for Iran with strikes on Iranian soil that have become the new normal has truly been something to behold.”
