Bank Hapoalim to open free financial education complex for children at Tel Aviv Port

Bank Hapoalim is opening a free financial education complex, "Poalim Junior City," for children aged 5-13 at Tel Aviv Port from August 18-27. The initiative aims to teach financial concepts like earning, spending, and budgeting through interactive activities, including simulated workplaces where children earn a "salary" on a prepaid card, and a shopping area where they can spend their earnings while learning about smart consumer choices. The complex will also feature a participatory show about financial behavior. Bank Hapoalim Chief Marketing Officer Yigal Barkat stated, "An important part of launching the 'Poalim Junior' product was our desire to establish the best financial education system in Israel for children." This project expands on the bank's recently launched Poalim Junior service, which allows children to manage money with parental oversight.
