Basij singer abducted, tortured to death as group ‘Ashtara Zero Day’ claims responsibility

Hamidreza Rajabzadeh, a pro-Iranian-regime singer and member of the Basij paramilitary force, was abducted and killed last week, according to Iranian state media. His family reportedly received a video showing his torture and death, which was then circulated on anti-regime channels. The group “Ashtara Zero Day” claimed responsibility, stating they target IRGC officials and warning, “Basij bastard, that's all you guys are; soon I will post more videos from the Ashtara Zero Day group who are monitoring many people in different cities.” Four suspects have been arrested, with one reportedly confessing to being paid by a foreign “terrorist” group. Iranian police and the IRGC have offered differing accounts regarding the motive, with investigations ongoing.
