Bennett adds longtime adviser, IDF reservist Jeremy Saltan to B’Yachad Knesset slate

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced on Thursday that Jeremy Saltan, a longtime political adviser and IDF reservist, has joined the B’Yachad party’s candidate list for the 26th Knesset. Saltan, an immigrant from the United States who made aliyah 31 years ago, becomes the 10th reservist and third American immigrant on the slate. He has worked with Bennett for nearly 15 years in various legislative and political roles, including serving as Knesset faction secretary during Bennett's premiership. Saltan has also served as a company commander in the IDF reserves, completing 636 days of reserve duty since October 7, 2023. He stated, “My life's mission has been service to the State of Israel.” Saltan plans to advocate for equality in military enlistment, increased support for reservists and their families, expanded aliyah, improved immigrant absorption, and strengthened public diplomacy.
