Bennett-Lapid party announces candidates list

Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid announced the candidate list for their B’Yachad ("Together") Party on Sunday for the upcoming Oct. 27 Knesset elections. Bennett stated, "this is the most talented, execution-driven, and devoted list to run for the Knesset in the last generation." The list comprises a diverse group including politicians, civil servants, soldiers, business executives, and activists. Bennett expressed confidence that with this team, they would address issues such as crime, security, cost of living, transportation, education, and Israel's global standing. Polls suggest B'Yachad could secure up to 15 Knesset seats, placing it behind Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar Party. The agreement between Bennett's former party and Lapid's Yesh Atid Party allocates 40% of the list spots to Yesh Atid, leading to resignations from several Yesh Atid Knesset members who saw their chances of re-election diminish. The top ten candidates include Naftali Bennett, Yair Lapid, Keren Turner, Merav Ben-Ari, Liran Avisar Ben-Horin, Noam Tibon, Michal Hirsch Negrin, Eitan Ginzburg, Merav Cohen, and Yonatan Shalev.
