Biden admin. was unaware of any UAE Oct. 7 massacre warning to Israel, sources tell 'Post'

The Biden administration was reportedly unaware of any specific warning from the United Arab Emirates to Israel regarding a major Hamas terror attack before the October 7 massacre, according to two sources. This follows a Haaretz report claiming UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ) warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over a week prior that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was planning a "major move." The Haaretz report also suggested then-CIA director William Burns heard from MBZ that "something is about to explode." While the Biden administration had no knowledge of a specific pre-October 7 warning, the UAE did caution US and Israeli officials earlier in 2023 that Israeli actions were "putting regional stability at risk." The UAE Foreign Ministry stated that "all relevant intelligence has been and continues to be shared between the relevant parties."
