Big Cypress Research LLC, a U.S.-based strategic research and public affairs intelligence firm, announced the opening of its first Middle East office in Amman, Jordan.

The Amman office will serve as the firm’s regional hub for Arabic-language research, open-source media monitoring and cross-border due diligence. It will support assignments involving economic sanctions and illicit finance, foreign influence, reputation risk, public affairs and rapid-response analysis across Jordan and the wider Levant.

The expansion adds region-based collection and analysis to Big Cypress Research’s U.S. research operation. The Jordan operation will monitor Arabic-language print, broadcast, digital and social media sources; translate and assess emerging narratives; and help map political, commercial and influence networks. The time-zone difference will also allow developments that occur overnight in the United States to be reviewed before the start of the U.S. business day.

“Developments affecting Israel, Jordan and U.S. interests are often visible first in Arabic-language reporting, local business records and regional political networks,” said Lucas M. Greenberg, president of Big Cypress Research. “An Amman presence gives us the language capacity, local context and extended coverage hours to identify those developments earlier and assess them more accurately.”

Big Cypress Research selected Amman because of its role as Jordan’s political, diplomatic and commercial center, as well as its access to Arabic-speaking research talent with knowledge of the Levant. The office will work with regional analysts and subject-matter specialists, while client management, final review and quality control will remain centered in the United States.

Initial priorities will include monitoring regional political and media narratives; tracing sanctions-evasion, procurement and illicit-finance networks; researching foreign influence and reputational exposure; conducting corporate and individual due diligence; and tracking policy or regulatory developments relevant to clients operating in the Middle East.

“The purpose of this expansion is not simply to translate more material,” Greenberg said. “It is to understand which sources matter, how narratives and financial networks move across borders and what those developments mean for a client’s decisions.”

All work conducted through the Amman office will rely on lawful open sources, public records, corporate registries, licensed research platforms and other authorized sources. The office will operate in coordination with Big Cypress Research’s U.S.-based team and under the firm’s existing research, documentation and confidentiality standards.

The Amman opening marks the next stage in Big Cypress Research’s expansion of international records research and worldwide policy tracking. Based in South Florida, the firm provides opposition and reputation research, public affairs intelligence, economic sanctions and illicit-finance analysis, government transparency and public records support, due diligence and rapid-response research to clients navigating political, regulatory and reputational risk.
