Blue Bird adds fourth weekly Tel Aviv-Amsterdam flight as summer demand rises

Blue Bird Airways will add a fourth weekly flight from Tel Aviv to Amsterdam starting August 10, operating on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. This expansion by the Greek carrier, owned by Israeli tourism group Kavei Hufsha, aims to meet increased summer demand, with one-way fares beginning at €164. The additional flight coincides with an expected surge in passenger traffic at Ben-Gurion Airport, projected to handle 2.6 million travelers in August. Arnon Englender, a Blue Bird owner, stated, "We are seeing a steady increase in demand for flights to Amsterdam from both leisure and business travelers." This move is part of Blue Bird's broader operational increase from Israel, following new summer routes to Burgas, Chania, and Kos, and its continued presence during periods of instability in the Israeli aviation market.
