British Embassy presents UK gin, seeks to expand ties to Israeli market

The British Embassy in Israel and the UK Department for Business and Trade hosted a "Distilling Excellence: UK Gin Showcase" in Tel Aviv on Monday to expand commercial ties between UK distilleries and the Israeli market. The event connected Israeli distributors, retailers, and hospitality professionals with British gin producers, including Brighton Gin and Cotswolds Dry Gin. British Ambassador to Israel Simon Walters stated, "Israel is an important market for British gin, with growing demand for premium brands." The UK accounts for over 50% of global gin exports, with exports to Israel valued at £3.99 million in 2024, comprising over 75% of Israel's imported gin.
