British far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos, 41, was detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Thursday at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Yiannopoulos entered the US legally in May 2019 but "chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation's laws," making him subject to a final order of removal. Separately, Allison Alon, a transgender Israeli woman and former IDF intelligence technology specialist, was arrested by ICE in New Hampshire. Alon, who was previously convicted of kidnapping, faces possible deportation from the United States after being released on parole from an American prison.
