British-Somaliland group slams UK government over Israel policy

The UK branch of the Somaliland-Israel Friendship & Abrahamic Movement has criticized the current UK government's policies toward Israel, urging its British-Somalilander community not to vote for the ruling party. The group stated, "We strongly criticize the current policies of this UK government towards Israel," asserting that these policies do not represent the will of the British people. They described Israel and the UK as "inseparable brothers" and accused the government of adopting an "outdated, double-standard policy." This criticism comes amid strained UK-Israel relations following new British sanctions targeting Israeli settlements in the West Bank, which led to Israeli countermeasures including the closure of the UK's consulate in east Jerusalem and the expulsion of British representatives from the Civil-Military Coordination Center.
