Caesarea Golf Club’s Mariposa: Kosher dining hits above par – review
There are many meat dishes, with steaks of every shape and size, but we were very happy to stick with the fish.
Mariposa, a kosher restaurant at the Caesarea Golf Club, offers a high-standard dining experience under new chef Raz Sela, who joined four months ago after a decade at a non-kosher Tel Aviv restaurant. The review highlights creative dishes and pleasant ambiance. Notable starters included the "Shmulik" salad with arugula, grapes, peanuts, and cranberries, and an excellent ceviche of chopped white fish. Main courses featured Togarashi-crusted salmon and grilled sea bass, both praised for their preparation. While the savory dishes were exceptional, the dessert course was noted as needing improvement. The restaurant is located at 1 Rothschild Street, Caesarea, and is open Sunday through Friday.
