Canadian woman suspected of abducting children to Israel, police ask for public's help

Israeli police are seeking public assistance to locate 20-year-old Alia Joy Hirschberg, a Canadian-born Israeli woman, and her two children, 3-year-old Tala Reisel and 1-year-old Natan Yaakov Verona, who are suspected of being abducted by their mother. The family entered Israel in August 2025 and has not been located since. The investigation began after a complaint was filed following a dispute between Hirschberg and the children's father, with a private investigator suggesting they might be in Jerusalem. Authorities believe they are currently in the Jerusalem area and urge anyone with information to contact the Israel Police.
