Chili Tropper's Zionist Home splits from Yoaz Hendel's Reservists, eyes Eisenkot slot

Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, co-heads of Zionist Home-The Reservists, announced their decision to pursue "separate political paths" on Sunday. Despite this political separation, they emphasized that their ideological partnership and long-standing friendship, spanning over 20 years, remain intact. In a joint statement titled “True friendship,” they reflected on their shared history as neighbors, synagogue attendees, and reserve soldiers, stating, "We both chose to try to serve the public through the political arena as well." The split comes as Tropper's faction reportedly eyes a potential slot with Benny Gantz and Gideon Sa'ar's new party, led by Gadi Eisenkot.
