Concern grows in Israel as mother, daughter mysteriously vanish in Vienna

Concern is mounting over the disappearance of Israeli mother Mali Yahalomi, 50, and her daughter Liel, who vanished in Vienna after sending their last message on Friday afternoon. They failed to board their scheduled return flight from Prague on Tuesday night. Austrian police found their Vienna vacation apartment empty of belongings, and there are currently no leads in the case. The family, who describes them as "experienced travelers" always in "constant contact," fears they may have been kidnapped, a concern heightened by Europe's open borders. Ronen Yahalomi, Mali's son, has traveled to Vienna to join the search. Both Israeli and Austrian authorities have appealed to the public for information, though Vienna Police stated there are "no indications of a criminal incident" and initial evidence suggests they may have left voluntarily, a conclusion the family disputes, claiming to possess contradictory information.
