Cori Bush tells fellow US progressives: My reelection would be ‘knockout’ punch to AIPAC

During a virtual rally on Monday night, two-term progressive Democratic congresswoman Cori Bush told fellow US progressives that she intends to deliver a “knockout” punch to AIPAC, the pro-Israel lobby, by winning her congressional primary next month. Bush, who was defeated in a primary two years ago, attributed the loss in part to AIPAC, which spent over $4 million against her. She stated, “But then when I win, that will be the knockout.” Other progressive candidates at the rally, including Abdul El-Sayed and Kaela Berg, also criticized AIPAC and corporate influence in politics, while Ro Khanna highlighted the “story of apartheid in the West Bank.”
