Cyera to acquire Israeli AI startup Oasis Security in $1 billion deal

Israeli data security firm Cyera announced its acquisition of local cybersecurity startup Oasis Security in a deal valued at $1 billion. This acquisition aims to enhance Cyera's data security platform by integrating Oasis's technology for managing and securing non-human identities, which are increasingly prevalent with the adoption of AI agents and autonomous tools. Oasis Security, founded in 2022 by Danny Brickman and Amit Zimerman, specializes in a platform that helps companies discover, manage, and control access from non-human accounts. Cyera founder Yotam Segev stated, "The AI era is transforming how organizations protect their data as AI agents are arriving faster than teams can govern them." This move addresses the growing challenge of securing data as non-human identities proliferate, with Cyera noting a 480% surge in such identities among Fortune 500 companies in the last six months.
