Delta, United Airlines return to Israel in time for High Holy Days, other carriers follow

Delta Air Lines resumed flights to Israel on Monday, with flight DL234 from New York's JFK Airport arriving at Ben-Gurion Airport. This marks Delta's first flight to Israel since pausing services in March due to the US-Israeli war against Iran. United Airlines is also set to restart flights from Newark to Tel Aviv this week, bringing direct competition to El Al after a six-month absence. Additionally, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will resume its Copenhagen-Tel Aviv route on October 26 with increased frequency, and Wizz Air announced an expansion of its Israeli network, adding new destinations and increasing existing service frequencies.
