This reasoning also explains why CENTCOM no longer confirms the number of Iranian targets struck daily. The Pentagon identified two service members killed in a Friday strike on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base as 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales. Additionally, wounded US soldiers previously told CBS that their injuries were more severe than officially designated, with one soldier stating he "absolutely" believed the Pentagon downplayed an incident in Kuwait.
