Eisenkot edges Netanyahu for PM suitability, Yashar bigger than Likud – poll

A Channel 12 poll published Monday evening indicates that Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the Yashar party, surpasses Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in suitability for the premiership. The poll projects Yashar as the largest party, securing 24 Knesset seats if elections were held today, while Netanyahu's Likud would receive 22 seats. In a direct comparison, 44% of respondents found Eisenkot more suitable for Prime Minister, compared to 34% for Netanyahu. The poll also examined a scenario including Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter's new party, which would see Likud lose a seat and the Religious Zionist Party fall below the electoral threshold.
