Enrollment up for over half of Yael Foundation's global network of Jewish schools

The Yael Foundation, a philanthropic fund promoting Jewish education, reported that over half (52%) of its funded diaspora Jewish schools globally saw increased student enrollment in the past year. This analysis, published Wednesday, gathered data from 145 institutions across 48 countries. Foundation CEO Chaya Yosovich stated, "Jewish education has become a source of confidence, resilience and continuity." The report also noted that 26% of centers maintained enrollment, grants expanded from 110 to 147, and total investment increased from €7.1 million to €9.5 million. The Yael Summer Camp saw a rise from 400 to 600 participants. Despite antisemitism and security concerns, many parents view Jewish schools as providing "identity, belonging, security and community during uncertain times."
