Eyal Golan’s ‘Science Fiction’ is Israel’s most played song of the year
Eyal Golan, Sarit Hadad and Avi Ohayon led ACUM’s annual rankings of Israel’s most played songs, performers, songwriters and composers.
Eyal Golan's "Mada Bidyoni" ("Science Fiction") was the most-played song on Israeli radio during the Hebrew year 5786, according to ACUM, the Israeli organization for composers', lyricists', and publishers' rights. The annual survey, based on ACUM's AcumOnAir monitoring system across 34 stations, also revealed that new sexual harassment allegations against Golan have not impacted his fan base. Avi Ohayon was the most-played songwriter and composer for the eighth consecutive year, while Sarit Hadad topped the female performers list. ACUM CEO Assaf Nahum stated, "I wish our creators a new and fruitful year of creativity, activity, and good music that will continue to bring joy and emotion to all the people of Israel."
