Federal prosecutors announce fourth case involving Jew-hatred threats in Georgia in past year

Federal prosecutors in Georgia have announced charges against Jordan Nicholas Hadley, 31, marking the fourth case in the past year involving alleged antisemitic threats in the state. Hadley, from Houston, is accused of leaving a voicemail in April with Atlanta-based Flock Safety, containing antisemitic slurs and threats to kill Jews. He was arrested on July 9 and is expected to appear in federal court in Atlanta.

“These men allegedly spewed vile hate and threatened violent attacks against Jews,”

said Theodore Hertzberg, U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, adding that “Threats against any person based on his or her religious belief will not be tolerated.” This action is part of the U.S. Department of Justice's ongoing efforts to combat rising antisemitism. Other cases include Matthew Alan Souza, who pleaded guilty to transmitting interstate threats, and pending charges against Aaron John Sasser and Christopher Robertson for similar alleged threats.
