Fetterman Warns Lack of Democratic Support For Israel Would Cause Him to Leave Party

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman stated on Wednesday that he would leave the Democratic Party if it officially became "the anti-Israel party." Speaking at the Hill Nation Summit, Fetterman expressed concern over the increasing criticism of U.S. aid to Israel among many Democrats, citing the support of 103 Democrats for an amendment to cut security assistance to Israel. He also criticized the rise of progressive candidates who are anti-Israel, referring to them as the "dirtbag left." In response, Rep. Chris Rabb called Fetterman a "sellout," and former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander questioned Fetterman's continued alignment with the party.
