Fmr. Iranian FM calls on Tehran to kidnap thousands of US soldiers from military bases

Former Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, now a member of parliament, called for Iran to launch a ground war to kidnap thousands of US soldiers from military bases in the Middle East. This action would be in retaliation for US strikes and threats against Iranian oil facilities. Mottaki also dismissed the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding talks as a “deception plan” by the US to end the Islamic Republic. He further demanded the prosecution of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump for strikes against Iran, claiming these aims were communicated by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

• Mottaki previously labeled Bahrain a “US puppet” for drafting an anti-Iran resolution on the Strait of Hormuz at the UN Security Council.
• The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) urged Kuwaitis and Jordanians to expel US forces from their countries, calling them “child-killers and occupiers.”
• These statements coincide with President Trump's declaration that the US would target Iranian power plants and bridges next week if no deal is reached, stating, “We're gonna knock out all their power plants. We're gonna knock out all their bridges, unless they get to the table and negotiate.”
