Former hostages blast 'NAZA' documentary, accuse filmmakers of erasing their suffering

Former Israeli hostages have strongly criticized the documentary "NAZA" following its Special Jury Prize win at the Venice Film Festival. Rom Braslavski, held for 738 days, called the directors "traitors" and suggested they "should be sent to prison." Eliya Cohen, who endured over 500 days in captivity, accused the film of being "a movie that completely erases what we've been through, reverses reality and presents a one-sided story." Cohen also stated that "Something must be done… a lesson that will make them understand that they are not welcome in Israel." The film is scheduled to premiere at the New York Film Festival on September 26.
