Gaza strike: IAF slays Oct. 7 terrorist who was working to rehabilitate Hamas

The Israeli Air Force killed Muhammad Suleiman Byouk, a Hamas commander, in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. Byouk infiltrated Israel during the October 7, 2023, massacre and planted explosive devices to harm IDF troops, while also working to rehabilitate Hamas. The IDF also announced the death of Nael Abu Obeid, commander of Hamas’s Rafah Brigade, who was involved in abducting and holding IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians, including Lt. Hadar Goldin in 2014. Additionally, the IDF previously killed Muhammad Yazouri, commander of Hamas’s Khan Yunis Brigade, and Mohsen Farid Said Abu Hadaf, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad cell commander involved in the October 7 invasion. Ahmad Batash, commander of Hamas’s Jabalia Battalion, was also eliminated. Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that "Hamas is now willing to give up their weapons" under his peace plan for Gaza, a claim that Jared Kushner acknowledged would be difficult to achieve.
