Greta Thunberg joins Berlin protest wearing 'Yalla Intifada' shirt

Greta Thunberg participated in a protest in Berlin on Saturday, wearing a T-shirt that read "Yalla Intifada." The demonstration, organized by the Berlin Alliance Against Arms Production, took place outside Rheinmetall's new ammunition factory in Berlin-Wedding. Protesters were rallying against the conversion of the plant's production lines from civilian automotive parts to steel casings for 155-mm artillery shells. The Combat Antisemitism Movement stated that "The slogan combines the Arabic word for 'let's go' and Intifada, terror campaigns that killed thousands of people." Historically, the First Intifada (1987–1993) resulted in approximately 200 Israeli deaths, and the Second Intifada (2000–2005) led to 1,010 Israeli deaths, predominantly Jewish civilians.
