Haifa International Film Festival to present the best of world cinema

The 42nd Haifa International Film Festival, running from September 26 to October 3, will showcase a diverse international program. The festival opens with Danny Boyle's "Ink," which details the transformation of The Sun tabloid, and closes with Nanni Moretti's "It Will Happen Tonight," based on an Israeli author's story. Both films come directly from the Venice competition. Other notable screenings include Cannes Grand Prix winner Andrey Zvyagintsev's "Minotaur" and Sandra Wollner's "Everytime," which won the top prize in Cannes' Un Certain Regard section. The festival will also host international filmmakers, present a Barbra Streisand tribute, and feature various sections including documentaries, animation, culinary cinema, and the Haifa Wild Nights genre program.
