This activity occurs despite an ongoing ceasefire and disarmament agreement. In response, the IDF and Shin Bet destroyed three Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad weapon storage facilities and a rocket launch pit in Gaza on Tuesday, containing dozens of weapons including rockets and Kalashnikov rifles. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently vowed to continue eliminating threats from Gaza, stating, "We control 60% of the Strip, and there is more to come because we are eliminating the terrorists who threaten us."
