Hendel: Tropper alliance won’t rule out Netanyahu, will prioritize Zionist principles – interview

The new political alliance, The Zionist Home-The Reservists, led by former ministers Yoaz Hendel and Chili Tropper, will not rule out joining a government with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but will prioritize its core Zionist principles. Hendel stated, "My point of reference is principles. If, tomorrow, there is a government of 70-80 Zionist seats and Netanyahu is part of it, of course I would join it." The alliance advocates for a broad Zionist government, universal military service, and a state commission of inquiry into the October 7 failures. They oppose a 61-seat government reliant on ultra-Orthodox parties that do not serve in the IDF and aim to be a pivotal party in forming the next government, focusing on security, settlement, and judicial reform achieved through consensus.
