President Isaac Herzog condemned the violence in the village of Jalud, calling it "an extremely serious incident that must be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law. It is a moral stain and an affront to the rule of law.""Arson, rock-throwing, and the assault and injury of IDF soldiers and Border Police officers are absolutely prohibited and can have no justification whatsoever," he said.Herzog called on the authorities "to act decisively against the lawbreakers and bring them to justice."
