"High-tech must be central to the platform of any party that wants to lead Israel"

Idan Tendler, co-founder of the Anu Banu initiative, warned at the National Economic Conference that despite positive economic data, Israeli high-tech faces significant dangers and its stability is crucial for Israeli society. He stated, "Without strong high-tech, Israel will lose its most important asset." Tendler argued that the industry's growth has widened social gaps and called for high-tech to become a new social melting pot, similar to the IDF's historical role, by creating equal opportunities for all segments of society. He highlighted Anu Banu's efforts to integrate diverse groups and utilize AI as a tool for reducing geographic and social disparities, emphasizing that "Artificial intelligence is not a threat to Israeli society it is the greatest equalizer." Tendler criticized the government's lack of involvement in high-tech and urged political parties to prioritize the industry in their platforms, calling it a national responsibility for technology professionals.
